Homily: Monday of the Fifth Week of Lent

This morning, Fr. Campbell reflects upon today's readings: Daniel 13:1-9, 15-17, 19-30, 33-62 or 13:41C-62 | John 8:1-11.

He says, "A Japanese friend of mine decided to become a Christian largely because of this Gospel story, so it's long been important to me. Jesus doesn't condemn the woman but he does call her accusers to account, and I think it was this action of a loving, forgiving, and just God that led [my friend] to ask for Baptism."
